On In Blue...
"I think you hear the Irishness in a different
way on this album. But we didn't want to bombard it. A lot of
the songs on this album are pretty up and it just didn't work.
We always try as much Irish stuff as possible - Sharon is there
with the fiddle and Andrea with the tin whistle but if it doesn't
work we just don't use it."
--- Caroline Corr on IB -----Core
Emotions, from a Australian paper, August 2000
"'No More Cry' is a song that
we wrote after our mother died. Actually, Caroline and myself
wrote it on her birthday. It just came to us. Music is definitely
a great help and a great escape, and I think it can help other
people who go through the same thing. Lyrically, it was written
as kind of rebelling against your own pain and loss. And also,
I wrote it for Daddy, to help him and to kind of believe in more
that we'll all be together some day and it's all for a reason."---
Andrea Corr on On More Cry -----Launch.Com,

"Every band says their latest
record is the best, but I really believe it. It's who we are and
we're really proud of it....it reflects how we've progressed and
what we've learned." ---Andrea Corr on In Blue
"I'm the real Slim Shady,
that's why we're No.1 this week and he's not." --- Andrea
Corr on knocking Eminem off the UK chart and having their first
No.1 single, Breathless.
